When we bought Maradona, the title was never an option. The main goal was to reach quarter finals of uefa.
Del nido Jr wasn't mentioned and his fight with his father.
Monchi didn't do it so bad, it was worse through Orta.
For me the downfall began with the departure or banega.
In every team you need a player who sweeps up the dirty and who makes its colleagues better.

Perfectly described the club status, although after Sevilla's 2-0 win against Espanyol last friday I think the club is capable of ending on the top half of the table and to recover from it next season

16th January 2022, the date that changed everything for Sevilla FC. The biggest circus seen in spanish football for a long long time. They went from being a good team to almost relegating and thats the exact date when it happened.

Good video, what about a follow up ranking each of their UEFA Cup/Europa Leagues wins?

...you forgot so many things...1995 summer with the relegation because of bureaucracy, how the competition was changed because of that with Sevilla being relegated with a ver "particular" job made by the referees that season; that´s the main reason of the economical crisis of Sevilla at the beginning of this century.

When Diego Carlos and Koundé were sold, they were replaced by Nianzou (one of the worst decisions made by Mondhi, a very expensive and awful defense) and Marcao (5 years, all the time injured, never attending a pre-season because of being injured), being both of them very expensive salaries for the team, as also it was really, really, really difficult to transfer them.

Just two othings never mentioned during the video, as also the actual president, the worst one of this century, only interested in how much money he can make as the president than how to fix the situation...

When you're only known for being the Europa League Merchants in the 21st century, there won't be much stability in the club.
