  Great video, as usual. I only wish you pointed out that Benitez did not exactly inherit a highly successful team. By 2001 they had lost many of their 1999-2001 heroes, such as Piojo Lopez, Mendieta, Gerard, Farinos. Which makes his 2002 triumph all the more impressive. On a separate note, Valencia's 1998-99 Copa del Rey run is a hidden treasure and deserves a video of its own. They scored 7 against Barca, then 7 against Real Madrid (including a 6-0 thrashing) and capped it off with a 3-0 domination of Atletico with the most exquisite of goals.

  I started supporting Valencia CF in 2004 I was 14 years old at the time and I still do, When we play at home in Mestalla it still gives me same vibe when we win at home

  Cuper and Benitez Valencia teams were so solid. Their team sheets didn’t blow you away (although they were loaded with talent) but when they stepped on the pitch they were so sharp and well drilled really minimizing defensive mistakes while also being tight in possession and with some pace too. Truly more than the sum of their very impressive parts
