  we need to start shedding light on how a present father effects daughters lives as well not just sons … there is a huge worldview even in the church that a father absent from a daughters life does not effect her because she’s a girl

  Amazing I’ve been struggling to lead my family I have made my children into insane athletes but I have not been a happy person to be around lately and this really opened my eyes that I’m the problem. When I walk in my home from work I don’t bring peace I bring anger and pain and I always would blame my wife and kids for how I feel but now I understand that I set the pace and emotions of my family. I will now bring that peace and be the leader God intended me to be. Thank you guys! Thank you Jesus for revelation!

  This is SO true. Says me....the guy who isn&apos;t fail(ing) but has already fail(ed). I am 64 and my first wife and children are casualties of a war I didn&apos;t know I was fighting. <br>Listen to them. For the love of God, and everyone concerned, listen to them and act on it.

  Man, listening to this, makes me want to throw my phone. I feel likea lazy husband. 22 years of marriage and my wife has had to take on most of the responsibilities of our household. Now she is a very educated woman and a proverbs 31 lady. Ive been blessed yet want to be the husband she needs and the dad that I need to be. I love being a dad and I dad at a high level and yet I have my struggles. I love Jesus and I fail daily. I also feel like I missed my calling of being a full time missionary. I realize now my calling is my family. My wife and my rolls seem reversed. She is the bread winner, we now run a business together yet I feel like I don’t carry my weight. Do you guys have a devotional or manual that can help?
