  I love Carlos’ heart in speaking about the ones we need to go after. I was one of those. I was wrecked with depression, shame, self hatred.. and felt I had no place among God’s people. So I walked away, but I still talked to the Lord. He was always there with me, even when I was on the streets, in jail, in psych hospitals. My appearance was that of a reprobate, but my heart never ceased crying out. He is faithful.

  Time went by so fast listening to the three of you interact with each other.  I will get right to the point and try to get my thoughts and fears explained and not get my words out and it makes sense.   I was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer a year ago this month.  I have felt a quiet stillness in my heart over this. At times I feel scared and praying to do my best just to hold on to Jesus that much tighter.  I don't know what tomorrow will bring, known of us do, but as a Christian, we know someone who does!  I pray that I don't turn away from my Savior Jesus Christ.  That he will be near each and every day. Amen

  YES! Boggles my mind that this is still a discussion. God does not lie or go back on His Word. All men sin, EVEN BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS. You will still sin as a saved person and salvation does NOT make you perfect. Do you hate sinning and feel remorse afterwards and repent? Do you continually try to be better and sin less? That’s the Holy Spirit in you saying you’re doing wrong, or does your continuing to sin NOT bother you at all. That’s the real question you need to ask yourself regarding salvation as a Christian.

  Faith: being convinced that something is true. You place your faith in Jesus for your salvation. You're saved - immediately. No hoop jumping (works, good deeds) required. Once saved, always saved. God is not an "indian giver". Will not take back the free GIFT salvation he has given you if you misbehave. God is not petty.

  If I could lose eternal salvation then it was never eternal. If I can lose my salvation, I would have lost it many, many times during my life. If I can lose my salvation then God is too weak to keep me. If I can lose my salvation then what Jesus did on the cross was insufficient. What a terrible message to tell an unbeliever when your witnessing to them. " Trust fully in Christ, believe that He died for your sins, that He will save you and give you eternal life.....oh, unless you screw up then it's all gone." Wow. Good luck making disciples with that message.

  I'm saved, I believe that my salvation is rock solid  and no man can steal it away.  What is hear a lot of people preaching is the TERM 'ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED' with a pre-statement of just believe in Jesus. Nothing else. OSAS is not a Biblical term. So many are headed to hell thinking that they are saved because they believe in Jesus, but repentance is not taught. Im against telling people 'once saved always saved' because of that.

  Hebrews 6:4-6 is written to Christians. However, it confirms eternal security. It is impossible to be brought back to repentance, because you have already repented. You cannot be born again again, because you are already born again. When a person is saved, they receive the Holy Spirit, the mind of Christ, a new heart of flesh, every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, and everything needed for life and godliness. This all happened the moment you believed the Gospel. Furthermore, God is no longer counting our sins against us (Romans 4:8; 2 Corinthians 5:19) and no longer remembers our sins (Hebrews 8:12, 10:17). Therefore, no sin we commit will result in us losing the Holy Spirit, etc.
