  It doesn’t matter when it was filmed.  If the suit is Patty, it was either a hoax, or someone skinned Patty and made a suit out of her!

  For me , it all comes down to if the individual in both films are 100% identical.    If not it is wasting my time. But if it is I will take that back and give credit to the Capturing Bigfoot creators.

  What a breath of fresh air and finally someone thinking logically!  People on both sides have gone berserk over this upcoming documentary.  Whether it turns out to be a hoax or not,  we can still be adults and have a civil discussions without being hateful to one side or the other.

  There is an interesting new clue emerging about this debate. A book was published in 2011 called “Searching For Sasquatch” by Brian Regal. It contains a passage that has now taken on far more relevance. Here is that passage…<br><br>“In 1979 just one month after the announcement of his retirement, Peter Byrne wrote to advise Sydney Anderson that his examination of the Patterson film not only showed it to be a hoax, but that the version Patterson promoted was not quite as original as billed. Byrne said Patterson and company had made one version as a test, and then made an improved version for public consumption. The cowboys had “carefully viewed” the original for flaws and then “remade” a second version at Bluff Creek on October 20, 1967.” He also warned Anderson about Patterson and Gimlin. They had, he said, run afoul of the law in the past. This private correspondence never made it to the open. Not wanting anything to do with the monster hunters, Anderson just put the letters with the explosive accusations in his file and forgot about them. Byrne soon dropped such accusations.”
