  A lot of people were not happy the football team came out before the performance was over.  At the end of the day, they are playing a game and these men sacrifice their lives so that freedom is afforded to them.  Kicking warmups can wait another 2 min.

  I’m a retired Marine, and Drill Instructor. <br><br>The Marines in the Silent Drill Platoon are hand picked out of basic training/boot camp. They have to be within the infantry, a min height of 5’11 - 6’1 and a certain weight. Selection to the silent drill platoon requires a 2 year commitment and they train atleast 8 hours a day. <br><br>The rifles are fully functional and the bayonet is real. The bayonet is removed prior to them passing it to each other. <br><br>If you want to see another amazing job look up the training of Marine Corps Pallbearers/Body Bearers on YouTube.

  The Marines are legit, they made all the difference for my son. He is so disciplined and since serving he has excelled in everything he puts his mind to.

  The symbolism of the soldier picking up the other soldier’s hat and placing it on his head, exemplifies the principle that you never leave a man behind and America always makes every effort to save save every man possible

  I am absolutely FURIOUS at the Colts and the Texans for coming onto the field before the Drill was completed. I will NOT forget their disrespect to our Marines or our country. Semper Fi, my fine Marines!

  Thats very disrespectful of those players to enter the field before the marines left. As an army vet i got really heated seeing that.

  Yep, former member of the Marine Corps Silent Drill team here. The noise is made with the palm of our hands. Crazy thing is you have to learn to do inspection arms with your the left side of your body even though you are right handed. That alone took me weeks to get down to perfection.

  My dad retired Marine Corps. Grew up a Marine Corp. brat. Was the best up bringing. Patriotic to the core. 🇺🇸
