  People have every right to discuss salary. It's a total lie that employers can tell their employees that they can't discuss pay. That girl should sue.

  When I was a nursing student the university said to us on the first day that we could get thrown off the course if we dressed up and were caught wearing a nurse outfit on a night out. It’s a serious job because people trust you with their health and dignity.

  OKAY BUT STORY ONE ???? people should be allowed to talk about their salaries ALSO AT WORK, and imo people absolutely SHOULD talk about their salaries with each other. Its an important workers tool to discover eventual discrimination or workplace mistreatment

  Fun facts in the US you legally allowed to talk about your pay and starting &nbsp;a Union whenever and with whoever you want. Getting fired for either of these reasons has been the grounds for many a lawsuit.

  The medical professional tiktoks have tripled and quadrupled my medical anxieties. Like i already was pretty sure staff had gossiped with each other about me and thats just life. But if i happened to go to the hospital and see the professional who just cared for me making tiktoks about something i did that grossed them out i would simply cease to exist. <br>Also, theres a good chance people have failed to get proper care for something because they saw tiktoks of nurses mocking people, doctors dancing during surgery, etc

  Firing someone over discussions about salaries is unethical and illegal. The first girl involved, not the IT one, should take her case to the Department of Labour or hire an Employee Advocate.
