"I am Claudia"<br>"So WHAT?"<br>Literally no better protagonist/antagonist introductory dialog in existence, absolutely unmatched

Silent Hill 1 has a very special place in my heart. I'll never forget being 6 years old and watching my dad play the game, hiding behind him whenever i got scared. I loved it, and he only played it when i was around to "help". Dad's not around anymore, but i always remember him while playing his videogames, like Silent Hill.

Hijo..listen to me. You deserve a 3 month break after this. This was by far your most exhausting and longest project yet. I don’t know how you do it and remain sane. Congrats.

Re: Angela's dialogue, her behavior is actually very common for someone struggling with complex PTSD, and I'd argue one of the things that makes Silent Hill 2 great is that she is not treated as a villain or a burden for it by the story

I'm going to defend Silent Hill Origins a little:<br><br>I see Silent Hill Origins' use of mirrors for traversing as, yes, a sacrifice to horror, but a mechanic that could actually add to the whole of the IDEA of what Silent Hill is. For Harry, it was a constant chase to find his daughter. For James, it was a hell of his own psyche. For Heather, it was a forced return to a ritual using her body. For Henry, it was a prison in which he was an unwitting victim. <br><br>For Travis, it's literally a coincidence.<br><br>It's like Silent Hill is angry and frustrated they have no leg to stand on because he has no sins, making puppets of past enemies and shallow new ones to try to frighten him, but they don't work well. So, the town has to settle for his traumas instead such as with his mother and father or residual trauma left behind by others that have come in contact and/or lived in the town that is present in Alessa's memories. However, as Travis is a well-adjsuted adult, it really doesn't even phase him, which makes the town angrier. In addition, he's shown to have a kind heart when saving Alessa, so she gives him the ability to get a leg up over the hell that she's been forced to create. In other words, he can control going back and forth to the other world because he's mentally stable and has no sins to speak of, only some trauma from his family. Lastly to this point, he has Alessa's favor, this is the only thing she can do to help him help her.<br><br>As for the UI, I don't mind it because it matches him. He's blue collar, rough around the edges, and is a trucker. His life isn't exactly pristine. If you think about it as the UI mimicking the character's internal thoughts/mental health, it makes sense and matches the other characters too. (Henry's being nonexistant/empty fits in this vein, since he is intentionally bland)

I never would've guessed that deciding to watch one SH2 video out of curiosity would lead me down a rabbit hole of watching 7 other hour-long SH videos and then eventually a nearly 9 hour finale. This series has been amazing and I'm seriously impressed at the speed at which you've uploaded them. I'm excited to see what you do next

I loved the puzzles in SH3 because they had this fairytale vibe which is an element of Alessa’s nightmare in SH1. Like cracking open a walnut to find a pearl that fits in a slot that unlocks a door? Insane

The bubblehead nurses in 2 always hit me viscerally because if you run by one and especially when they are encountered outside they roar in anger.<br><br>They know what you did. And to them <b>you're</b> the monster. A murdering piece of... And they HATE you.

"You see it too? It's like this for me all the time". That quote from Silent Hill 2. That was the :O moment for me. I assumed from that point everyone in-game was dead. This was an afterlife test that was determining their final afterlife destination.

Just to clarify, Maria is not killed with the great knife in the hospital basement, she is killed with a spear. Hence Pyramid head chasing you in the hallway with a spear. He only actually uses the great knife up until the point you are knocked off of the hospital roof, after that it isn't used by him for the rest of the game.
