True but for a lot of older enthusiasts with more money than time, the satisfaction of having the car that they enjoyed so much as young men in their thirties and forties it’s well worth spending three or four times the car’s ultimate value for sentimental reasons as much as anything. ( Harry’s Garage channel has had plenty of examples of that in the past) …

The early XJ40s , pre 1992, were far better on the bulkhead than the later models, when they modified it to adapt to except the V12. Unfortunately, this design followed on to X300 and X308 models , many owners not aware as it’s well covered up.
