When it comes to killers it is hard to feel any kind of sympathathy for them however Ed Gein is one of the rare ones. I do feel sorry for him he was a very troubled man mainly because of his upbringing by his domineering mother yet he was happy to be in a mental hospital where he would be treated well and get the help he really needed. He was a model patient calm quiet and kept to himself alot but never caused the staff any trouble it truly is a shame what happened to him life could have been so much different for him in a positive way too
