I sprinkle cayenne pepper on my beds I even do it in the fall so that they don't dig up my bulbs. So far it has worked. I use a lot of cayenne pepper though so I grow it😂

The battle of the Squirrels! I loved feeding the birds but sadly had to stop because it was attracting a huge amount of squirrels. 😢 I also keep a fountain running for the squirrels it keeps them away from my tomatoes. Apparently it's the water they are after.

I love squirrels and chipmunks. I decided to just let them plant their own garden. I now have sunflowers growing everywhere. 😂

3” of straw mulch on everything in my garden seems to be a deterrent since I rarely see that squirrels have dug into it. <br>Sadly, they eat my strawberries in the Greenstalk before I do.

Dried chili flakes (Costco) around my seedlings helped after the squirrels pulled so many out.

I also use those wire baskets in the garden. That clamshell havk is genius! I've never seen that one before now

I had a cocker spaniel mix that kept all the squirrels away once. You can't yell at the dog for catching one though. My husband did and the dog stopped doing it's job.

I had a Mexican sunflower that was amazing. Till a squirrel climbed up it and broke every branch. It was in full bloom.

I used plastic forks sticking up out of soil all around my flowers and lettuces and it finally worked!!!!😊
