Civil War is one of their best songs IMO, really deep lyrics and still relevant to today's society

Guns n roses is a hybred name of LA Guns and Hollywood Rose, the two bands where the members came from.

When Axl first stepped off the bus when he arrived in NYC he ran into a homeless man who screamed at him "Do you know where you are? You're in the jungle baby, you're gonna die!" He remembered that and wrote this song. "The Jungle" refers to LA in the 80's.

Axl in his prime, a true rock god of his ERA. Appetite For Destruction, is a master class, in old time rock and roll.

The name 'Guns n Roses' is a combo of 'L.A. Guns' and 'Hollywood Rose' (both bands that Axl Rose was in). After lead singer Scott Weiland of 'Velvet Revolver' passed away. The remaining members joined Axl Rose to complete the lineup of 'Guns n Roses'.
