Imagine a world where you’re a high school student pre internet, pre social media, pre cell phones, etc., etc. and you sneak into your house past curfew on a Saturday night drunk AF only to flip on MTVs Headbangers Ball to hear this song for the first time…and having to wait until Monday morning in school to tell your crew all about it…AND wondering how or when you’d get to hear it again. The 80s were a special time.

Never apologize for pausing or rewinding. Us Gen Xer's know these songs back to front so pausing and hearing your take as it plays is what we are after. It brings back memories of how we reacted when we first heard them and seeing your genuine reaction makes us smile 😊

This was everybody's introduction to Guns N Rose's. MTV refused to play the video, but David Geffen made a deal and MTV agreed to play it once....at 4 AM. They got so many requests, that they were forced to play it regularly. Great reaction.
