It’s getting harder and harder to find a well documented history channel on YouTube. Thank you for putting in the effort. 😊

What's funny is that back in the 1800s, even the worst outlaw put on a formal suit to get his photo taken. You'd never see anything like this now. You're never going to see a picture of a street thug in a suit unless it's orange. The photo shown on the news is typically of him wearing some tattered outfit and shooting a bird at the camera.

Funny thing about the old west is, how was anybody able to live to an old elderly age? With all of the hazards of life at that time, and on top of that farmers worked themselves to death since there was no social security then. People had to work constantly just to have enough food to live on.

My great grandfather was in the Wild Bunch. Sitting front and center in the famous photo. Robbed one train too many.

Wyatt Earp administered justice that he knew would fail in the legal system by way of paperwork, dishonest judges, or other "legal" offices. I believe that is one reason Tom Mix wept at his funeral. Yes, they were good friends, but I think Mix got to know Wyatt's heart and outright loved Wyatt. Nothing dirty. Just very good friends.

I can't believe this. I don't think there's one picture in this video I haven't seen a dozen times before.

Since September 11, 2001, there have been 32 Medals of Honor awarded for actions in the Global War on Terror (Afghanistan, Iraq, and related operations).

The overwhelming majority were awarded for single acts of conspicuous gallantry under intense enemy fire. Many were posthumous Each went through an extremely long, layered review process.

Roughly 25 years of continuous combat in multiple theaters … and 32 MOH awards.

Now compare that to 20 Medals of Honor awarded for Wounded Knee, (yes, actually 20) which unfolded in less than an hour and involved a largely disarmed Lakota camp.

Government giving mentals to create heroes, to disguise a massacre?

25 years of war - 32 MOH (War on Terrorism)

One hour battle - 20 MOH (Wouded Knee)
