  I also have multiple meters and really love the Brymen I bought from EEV store. If you're not fond of the blue ones Dave sells you can get a red one from Brymen

  I have a Fluke Series 77. Use it daily for robotic troubleshooting and repair. It is about 30 years old, and is still working great.

  Most folks in our field end up with a pile of hand held dmm's. I still have an analog one that I built in school..lol. My bench top is a Rigol 3058. My daily driver is the alientek 40c "luxury" and a WinApex 268B ac/dc clamp. Its excellent for millivolts range. I doubt most of the offshore handhelds will last as long as a fluke but I agree they are drastically overpriced for what you get. I will check out this one for sure. Thanks for the review Raff.

  I grew up with Fluke and use it daily.  Love the history and will continue to use Fluke the rest of my life.

  I used to use my Flukes a lot on radio systems, the ability to measure audio frequencies was useful. Particularly for inband signalling tones at about 2.7 -3.0kHz. For circuit isolation and checking notes were not considered enough and isolators had to be physically locked off with dedicated padlocks. These locks were not permitted to have spare keys. We also were not permitted to just use multimeters to establish isolation.  My Flukes have all been dependable but I do have some cheapies for automotive stuff.

  Excellent video, keep up the good work!<br><br>Being a manufacturer, and having to plan your test equipment needs for the next five years, is a bit different than doing this as a hobby.<br>A manufacturer has a very good idea of what test equipment it needs, and what he might need in a few years.<br>He might introduce a new product next year, but it will probably just be only a minor change from what he is doing today (firmware update, a few new features, etc)<br><br>A hobbyist on the other hand might be doing something today, speaks to a friend, and in two weeks start experimenting with something totally different.<br>What are his test equipment needs, who knows!

  When working fast, auto ranging is an additional think that one has to wait for. Also, I often find an older an along meter is faster and more useful. I usually don&apos;t need 3 digits of reading, when 2 is more than one needs.
