  I think what really gets me about the whole “wowwww being a girl mom is so hard the shoes the nails the hair the makeup so expensive!!!” is that, if the girl doesn’t do those things, the moms are upset. <br>As a butch lesbian, when I rejected makeup and nails and everything girly (and expensive), my mom lamented how she wasn’t getting the “fun” parts of a girl. She didn’t get to go dress shopping with me, or do my makeup, or curl my hair before school. <br>If a young girl wants to be feminine, she’s demanding and expensive and annoying and takes too much time. If a young girl wants to be masculine, she’s depriving the mom of fun. It’s lose-lose. It’s almost like these women just don’t want to raise girls.

  My husband just said, boy moms say the kind of things that if a father said about his daughter most of us would immediately be like wtf, that&apos;s fucking gross. And question the safety of that daughter.
