Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope was the first movie I took my wife to while we were dating in 1978. The reason you see three CGI actors in Rogue One, is because they were in the first movie in 1978. One of the reasons some of the aerial fighting in Rogue One looks like they made it for the original movie back in 1975 and 1976, is because they actually used in Rogue One footage filmed in 1975 and 1976 but the footage was never used in A New Hope. So several of the actors filmed back then appear in the battle here also.
