  I picked up a 1970s monark 15.5 ft. Flat bottom for $400. Found a 28hp Johnson spl for $600. &nbsp;A couple hundred in carpet wood,ECT.. Built a casting deck.Set it up with a side counsel, new seats, rod holders green interior lights.<br>Under $1400 ,put together a nice little bass boat . It&apos;ll do about 25mph with 2 adults,and 2 kids. <br> I can&apos;t afford a $20,000 tracker,but the kids don&apos;t know the difference.<br> &nbsp;Like I was once told, being poor isnt the problem. It&apos;s being satisfied. If you want cool stuff,and don&apos;t have a lot of money. Get old stuff,and make it cool

  This is by far one of the BEST build vids i have ever seen. This guy is good. &nbsp;Nights and weekends, it looks like it would take 3 years to build, IF you were handy with every fab tool known to man, the cash to spare, and a woman that would put up with you paying more attn to your boat, than you do her, and you havn&apos;t even gotten it wet yet

  This guys content, camera work, narration, music, etc is exceptional.<br>Now,<br> How bout a Po-Folk video build, for those of us diy broke folk that scavenge the materials for several years, piling up bits and pieces of old boats and campers, etc. Reclaiming pvc, carpet, wires, switches, lights, etc. That&apos;s how we justify it to the wife. Maybe someone should do a vid on the art of distressing brand new equipment, accessories, motors, electronics, fishin poles, etc., camoflaging it to look like it&apos;s been layin around in the pile for years. 1st thing to successful motor laundering is directly related to the size of the parts pile. Like guns and fishin poles, the old lady don&apos;t know the differance between a Rem model 700 and a Red Ryder BB gun, always keep a decoy on the rack. The real collection is out of site. And make sure if you use fishin as an excuse for drinkin, that you go to the store periodicaly and bring home some fish, and, the more ya rub it all over yourself the less you smell like beer and cigars...😂

  I got reaaaally lucky and grabbed a 99 bass tracker for only 2500 bucks. Ripped up carpet and a bit of motor work was all. Completely restored it. Great boat now.

  I bought that same Tracker Classic XL brand new &apos;22 for $14999. The trailer and 50hp is the difference on this e$timate cost to build. Its an outstanding boat, I loved everything about it especially the trailer. Its a deal in this day and age, Compared to how much everything else in its class costs. Only reason I sold it is to pay my truck off to be debt free, giving me time to work on boat projects. Nice looking project boat here though, I love 16 SC Jon Boats.
