Why not just install the panels upside down with the service area at the bottom so you don't have to run all your branch circuits through the service area?

We did change outs where the enclosures were the same and just changed out the guts. Saved a lot of ripping drywall out and finagling things spending much more time. We did this to a panel where a squirrel fell down a chase conduit and got stuck on top of the main. The older lady called us out because she heard "Sizzling" coming from her breaker box. When we got there we found that it started to break down and all of it's bodily fluids leaked onto the main and down into the bus bar causing corrosion and the electrical sizzle. This is why you want to plug the end of the chase or bring it up high enough into the attic that rodents don't find their way into the service panel.

I remember at my workplace we had a normal 120v 20amp wall receptacle burnt up over the years of use for charging both of our motorized pallet jacks. The receptacle was tapped into a 50 amp dedicated circuit.

Notice how you guys seem way more comfortable. Also interacting with each other more instead of just trying to get everything installed. The dynamic is much different now that that fan is buzzing away. Am I right, lol total game changer

Back in the day, I always put a Lightning ARRESTER, on each panel, even underground services. Lightning does follow underground feeders.

You guys should try work belts that aren't attached to your pants. It's a little more comfortable than having the tools pulling on your belt and pulling your pants down.
