  I traveled to Germany with my Colombian wife. I impressed upon her the importance of punctually in Alemania. Everyday in Germany I kept repeating “amor puntualidad en Alemania, es muy importante!”

  I hardly consider myself and expert on Colombia however, I lived in Bogota for nearly 6 months and visited Colombia 5 times. Been to Medellin 3 times and I love the place! My wife is from there as well. I think you nailed the pros and cons. This is a great video for anyone considering moving there. We&apos;re about a year out from moving there from Canada. Really looking foreword to it! Thanks for this great video!

  Gotts learn Spanish. It&apos;s not too terrible to pick up. I&apos;m not the best at learning new languages, but if you hear it EVERY single day, you eventually get used to the basics.

  I just booked three months in Medellin. I&apos;m there just before I head to CDMX. Im as pale as they come. I had literally zero issue whatsoever during a recent two week stay in CDMX and when I return I intend to be there for some time. The thing I want to say about safety: CDMX has an active volcano, earthquakes, and lots of people= crime. I guess I have some level of understanding and acceptance that anything could happen at any moment and its not completely up to me. I can take some measures to take care of myself the best I can but I can&apos;t live my life in fear on &quot;what if&quot; I&apos;m going to die either way, I don&apos;t want the fear of death to keep me from living before the inevitable comes.

  I&apos;ve never been to Medellin, or anywhere else in Colombia. However, I did have a good friend go and check it out. His very first day in Medellin he was walking in the Provenza neighborhood and witnessed two guys walking a little ways in front of him get robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight. He returned home the next day.

  Once I get financial freedom, my main home might end up being in Colombia. It&apos;s just a special place, as well as Turkiye and Georgia for me personally; originally I come from Bosnia but I&apos;ve travelled the world and seen many countries - Medellin is one of my top 3 cities in the entire world. Great video brother.

  I am considering retiring in South America. Colombia and Medellín specifically are very high on my list. I have been to Medellín twice and loved it.
