  This is some good info and thanks for the build tips that i might try using.<br><br>The trick I typically use is I build the chimney how I want, as long as you have enough distance between the fire start point and your blocked off end point the smoke won&apos;t come back down. &nbsp;I completely wall off the top with a stone block so rain cant affect the fire below and extend the top a little above that then place some braziers at the top to make it look like its putting out a lot of smoke when actually the smoke from the fire itself is contained. &nbsp;Now the smoke from a couple braziers in the top only works well if your using something like Valheim plus and have the no need to feed fires option enabled. &nbsp;Otherwise if you want the smoke effect from them you have to climb on your roof every so often to feed the braziers. &nbsp;So your method is better if your totally vanilla and want the smoke to actually exit the chimney.
