  The man that was trafficked for housework for TWENTY SIX YEARS yet they only got six years…wow. Just wow, the justice system failed him there.

  I went to school with someone who’s family kept a slave for 16 years. It is so surreal, we went to private school together, she was one of my best friends in school and her family were close with my parents. She told me she had a ‘maid’ on many occasions, you would have never thought otherwise. <br><br>The most evil people can come across as the nicest.

  The story of the Nigerian man who was kept as a slave for 26 years absolutely broke my heart. &nbsp;The fact that his captors only got 6 years each is beyond disgusting. &nbsp;I hope that they rot for the rest of their lives. &nbsp;But most importantly, I hope that this man has been reunited with his family, and that he only finds happiness and joy from here on out.

  I was stalked unknowingly for 18 months, groomed online and abducted, beaten live online, and held captive in a remote mountain location in southern Spain, and I believe I was fortunate to have escaped with my life. The local Guardia Civil could not care less and even blocked my email address. I have been even further affected by not being heard or taken seriously than the abuduction itself, even though it was itself highly traumatic. Not one of approximately 20 individuals or police forces, organisations, etc., or those who claim they care, cared. Not one single person even responded.

  We never talk enough about the market for this. We talk about the victims and the organizers but we almost never see the faces of those that are handing over the money and buying these people to use them.

  When there is a victim that has been exploited or been under coercive control. It takes a special detective with the right interpersonal skills and non judgmental abilities to really understand what has occurred. So many victims are villainised and blamed for what has happened to them when the police don’t understand fully what has happened. They don’t have these skills and abilities to be able to understand. This detective is what they should all be like. If only that was the case. He is definitely a special detective, and what all detectives should strive to be like. I have so much respect for him. ❤

  Lost my dad when I was 2 and bro was 6mo. Working with people who knew your dad makes me happy. We don&apos;t remember him, so &nbsp;for me, places he frequented feel almost like &quot;sacred.&quot; So special 😊
