Absolutely education is key, but just like that young lad said, “I didn’t think it would happen to me.” I remember being young and being taught about drugs, and I didn’t think I would get hooked. The first time I did meth I knew my life was changed. I’ll never forget that first time, I heard a voice say “it’s over” and it was for me. That led me to also doing heroin. I battled my addiction to drugs and alcohol for years then decades. Finally, I found freedom April 6 of 2020. Addiction is hell on earth.

I never tried Ketamine because it wasn’t available back then. But I tried meth once. Problem was, I loved it. So 6 months later I tried it again. And then 3 months later I tried it again. Soon I was doing it every day. It just happened. I didn’t plan it. I never thought it would end up that way. I spent 5 months in rehab. Lost my house (couldn’t pay the mortgage), filed bankruptcy, and started over from scratch. It’s been a long recovery, 30 years. I’ll never get back what I lost. All I wanted to do was feel good. Helluva price!

This program didn't show enough but there's 18-20 year olds using ncontinence pads & urinary bags 24/7 from Ketamin misuse.

I lost one of my oldest mates to this. He was in his 60s and had been addicted for about 4 years ,he just couldnt take it any more and took his own life.

I found my daughter at 14 with ket… she openly admitted this was her first time, and I can only hope her last. As undiagnosed neurodiverse woman who has had a 30 year addiction to drugs, I chose to educate her on addiction, adhd, ptsd and coping strategy’s. That was two years ago and today she’s doing great… education is the way forward in recovery and combatting potential substance abuse. Well done guys and thank you for this documentary ❤
