  Well, I have been bummed by the high cost of older, large vices. It is plain to see why they are expensive. What I have learned from this is that, I will be making my own. My complements to you on the high quality and performance of the vice you designed and built. I retired on 11/30/21 and looking forward to putting my shop together. Your vice will most definitely be on the project list. Thanks very much for sharing this.

  Just want to make the point that vise handles are sized for the capacity/Limit of the vise. You should NEVER add a lever to increase mechanical advantage. We had 100lb vises at Grumman Aerospace that were 50 years old that were indestructible. Vises like that today cost a fortune!!:) great video
