  the bishop&apos;s opening is actually deadly, igor is NOT kidding when he says it&apos;s good. people will criticize the gambits because they&apos;re &quot;unsound&quot; but usually they work out just fine paired with some attacking skills. not to mention, the vienna hybrid is quite solid and is really fun to play.

  I&apos;m 1100 rated and that bishop sac on g5 is like a cheat code. My opponents usually use about 1 second per move until then and... minutes can pass before their next move. Plenty of them have spent forever freaking out only to hang the knight on g4 lol. This opening is like an invisibility cloak for the queen

  I&apos;ve been trying to play this opening for a week and it never once panned out. The other players just don&apos;t do what they do in this video to allow this to turn into a checkmate opportunity. 20-30 games playing this and always wished I had brought my king side night out earlier and not hold it hoping for this opening to work.
