I switched to Linux in 2017. And I have to say the progress these guys have been making has skyrocketed these past two years.
There's some hardworking people out there doing all this for free. Respect!

There's a law in the Linux community- there may not be a right distro, but there's always a wrong one: it's whatever one you chose. This is universal. It applies to everyone. Always has and always will. I don't care what you picked or what you use, the law states that I must point out that you should have chosen differently.

The steam deck was my entry to Linux.
I was hoping to put windows on my deck, but at the time there was a lot of issues with doing that and i didn't want to fight with it. I bit the bullet and stuck with steamOS.
Once i started playing around in the desktop environment i was pleasantly surprised.
2 years later and my laptop is running mint, my desktop is running bazzite, my old asus vivostick that was never good for anything is running an ultra light distro for my TV to access my media server... which is also on mint...

It's like getting hooked on drugs tbh

The day Lord Gabben releases the Steam OS for regular PC's that works on the majority of modern hardware Microsoft's market share will drop below what is discernible by the human eye.
