  My sister did a genealogy and found we were related to Charlemagne. We laughed that we were related to an Emperor, only to find everyone else in Europe is too.

  When Lindsay said all modern people of European descent are related to Charlemagne, my knee-jerk reaction was like &quot;Wow, that&apos;s crazy, I wish I was related to Charlemagne.&quot; Took me a second to realize that being a white American (with German great-grandparents) DOES count as European descent 😂 I don&apos;t really get to personally relate to a lot of these European history videos, so that&apos;s pretty cool.
