  I read many times that the king Louis XIII had issues in his relationship with his wife but never read that they got forced to consummate at 13, poor teenagers, they barely reached puberty at that age, no wonder they were repulsed

  Three violent rebellions??? Jeez, her son had a tremendous amount of patience for his awful mother. Totally understandable why she ended up totally isolated from all her illustrious royal children. What king or queen in their right mind would want to keep this quarrelsome woman around?
