I’ve Been Waiting For You was a song that got stuck in my head and couldn’t get rid off after listening to this album

'Hey Hey Helen" is a great mix of genres.Heavy Deep Purple-ish intro, funky interlude, gospel backing vocals/ choral part that was especially even more charachteristic all way through the outro.

SOS was the song that made me love music. When I first heard the intro to that song on the radio it knocked me out. It sounded so different to anything else. One of my favourite songs ever and one of the best songs ever written and recorded. My No. 1 ABBA song.

This album is ABBA in an intense progress to their sound..Lyrics to some songs are quite ironic and critical.Same goes for the sarcastic photo cover on its sleeve that was an answer to the critical storm they had received from the left wing fuelled Swedish press about their supposed luxurious lifestyle which was a prejudiced incorrect estimation of a lifestyle that Abba never actually adopted..And despite being rather unnoticed at the time, some songs have to do a lot with social awareness such as "Man in the middle", 'Hey Hey Helen"(a rather feminime song for its time , about a divorced woman with kids and the way she has to face life and the social sourounding)and critical such ''So Long" , a slap in the face for every wealthy womaniser who views females as an object of pleasure that can be easily 'bought'.ABBA were still far more than their seemingly carefree earcandy joyful pop.

SOS is one of the best pop songs ever made. Indeed.

You really have to watch the performance of 'So Long' on the TV Show 'Made In Sweden For Export'. It will blow your mind. Frida goes ballistic in it! 😄

Tropical Loveland is a great tune because of Frida’s incredibly unique velveteen voice. A great stress release whenever I hear it.
