  A perfect video all around! Great photography, editing, and of course, great subject matter! This was very enjoyable to watch.The most satisfying part of the whole video was watching the lifters slide down into their bores in s.l.o.w. motion :) A well oiled part in a perfectly fitted bore!  I hope your New Year is filled with glorious noise from those pipes!

  Loved seeing the recap of the engine build. Great respect for your meticulous work and Penny's amazing camera work.   Thanks for this tutorial.  Even without commentary, this is east to follow.  I have a 2000 custom and need to remove the front cylinder head. Was afraid I'd have to dismount the entire motor. It's a relief to see its not so complicated to just leave in place and just take the head. 🤟

  Did the same with my '02 Sportster years ago. Took the time to have the heads ported and polished and a valve job done as well. Kept the 883 final gear ratios, and the bike was a screamer!!!

  Really great video! I had a 1200 Sporty back in 2010 that i bought from a lady a neighbor of mine knew. I put new tires on it, changed all of the fluids and had the motor tuned plus plugs. I rode it to the Sturgis rally that year. Had zero problems and the best weekend ever. I live in southwest Ohio. Ended up selling it back to the lady i bought it from for her son to enjoy. I learned alot from your video and appreciate your mechanical abilities. Thank you again😊

  Dang, 28 minutes for a whole engine upgrade. I&apos;m gonna have to ask my Harley dealer why it took 3 weeks to swap out my cam chain tensioner and lifters 🤣

  I have to say that after watching this video again after a couple of years that the idea of using the 1/2 inch wrench to check the play in the chain is brilliant !!!! Well done man, I&apos;ve learned so much from your channel and I&apos;m grateful for it...

  Love watching you work Del, not done much tinkering on my bike since my bike accident 4 years ago, not ridden a bike either !. Have a 2003 sportster custom that I want to convert to mid controls and spoked wheel on rear, this is inspiring me , used to watch you all the time in the past ,thanks and look after yourself.

  Looks good. Must be one of the few harleys I like!! <br>Not sure if you caught it on faceache, but I now have a 4th xj900s diversion in a deep navy blue.<br>Shes called JaZell.. and staying pretty much as standard apart from Front calipers, rear shock, brake fluid and some fixes she needs. <br>Hope you both have a Fab new years eve. I&apos;ll drink to both your healths and fingers crossed pop by the workshop in the new year.

  Back in 2022 I met a young man from up N. Tx way riding a Sportster out at Junction. We talked Harley’s and ate lunch down to Leaky. &nbsp;1 st time I’d heard about the step up to 1200 from 883. &nbsp; Don’t recall if he did it himself or had a shop do it……… but it was a bad ass bike 😃. &nbsp;Great job and attention to detail on reassemble 👍❤️🙏
