  Ya know... when I saw the thumbnail... I just assumed that this was metal 3D printed... and I was impressed. To see that you cast and machined this yourself... that is next level awesome. I&apos;m absolutely subbing.

  Can the world engineering committee please make a new award for this man and projects like his? As an engineering student, his work is not inherently revolutionary, but what he was able to do with the minimum amount of tools is mind-blowing and impressive on a different level to the unlimited resource situations that most engineers have. 11/10, if this man had more tools he could genuinely make things beyond our understanding. Give this dude a 6 axis cnc and he would solve world hunger. Keep up the good work man and never stop creating!

  As someone who&apos;s been an apprentice machinist, and who&apos;s Dad is a machinist for close to 50 years now, the amount of work, detail, and forethought that went into this build, is nothing short of outstanding! You put a lot of work into this, and to have it function as intended when it was done, just speaks volumes about your knowledge and skill level! Bravo dude!   Brother ! the sand mold has to be placed upside down in the furnace so that the burnt plastic falls out. If you keep it facing upwards, the burnt plastic remains inside, and marks from it become visible on the finished piece.
