Thank you for explaining things in a way that those of us who don't have a science degree can understand. Your analogy to seaweed was very helpful.

Wish there were more people looking at ADHD in adult women combined with perimenopause.

As a former powerlifter turned Jiu-jitsu junky, it had been years since regularly consuming creatine. As in my former life, I would use creatine to assist with ATP production. Since discovering Dr. Sims, I began doing 5g of creatine daily. Although I am on MHT, I still wasn’t able to get over the hump of mental sludge of brain fog. I have been delightfully surprised by the cognitive improvements I have been positively experiencing since resuming creatine. Not only does it help in my workouts (increased strength/energy) but actually feeling like the Saran-wrap coating on my brain is finally dissolving! I’ve begun connecting with my words again and not just having static. Thank you for all you do to help out us mature dames Dr. Sims!

The focus on brain health aligns perfectly with Axalem's mission; I've felt sharper since I started using it.

What about vit (hormone) D3 plus K2 plus magnesium??? This trio is super important for healthy bones, healthy heart, healthy brain, healthy body...why don't they get any mention at all?

I’m 41. Have 4 kids and doing my best to stay in shape and healthy for this tornado called menopause that is about to hit. I want to say thank you to you for enlightening me and changing some habits I had. I used to exercise on an empty stomach, now i take some protein before exercise after learning that women need at least small amount of protein before exercising. It was hard at the start but now I have accepted I need to break my fast first and do exercise after that. Lesson for life and menopause 😊

Dr. Stacy, I would be interested to see a video of your top 5-8 vitamins & minerals that you recommend, given that it is near impossible to get enough of most vits & minerals via diet alone.

Aishwangandra can also lower heart rate, I was re.oved from it as it took me too low. It had parallel properties to metraprolol medication so be careful if you have heart issues.
