I've known Aaron since he first started road racing (early 1980's), and I can confirm, after talking with Aaron, that this video is NOT him speaking and he has had no input whatsoever into it. Aaron was a fantastic racer and a really good guy, but this video is simply AI created.

I am 3 younger then Slighty, i loved watching him, his tenacity, determination and the the fact he was a Kiwi. No ego, no whinging, just got the job done . The Hockenheim race reminded me of the Rainey V Schwantz race. Records may say one thing, but in my book the headline states "Legend".

Watched him at Monza in 2000 on the RC45. Always a pleasure. Character is not measured in points. One of the greatest racers ever.

Aaron was an orsume racer and always a great watch, I briefly spoke to him at the cemetary circuit in Wanganui,about 20 years ago, it was early in the day and in the general puiblic area, it appeared that he had paid for his own ticket. His book was a great read as well.

Remember Slight in WSBK and agree with the statement about the Ducati being legal cheating. There's a reason the grid was filled with lots of privateer Ducatis because of the advantage they provided.

I vaguely remember Aaron signing autographs at The Cemetery Circuit Wanganui, I was perhaps 6 or 8 years old.<br>Delightful young lady whipped the puppies out and spoke "SIGN THESE!"<br>I remember remembering more than I remember the moment.
