This is an extremly underrated movie. The way they showed the passage of time without feeling repetitive or boring is a work of art.

Tom Cruise did another underrated but SOLID sci fi film right before this one … OBLIVION. If you find time for it in the mix, you won’t be disappointed.

A Looper article had the best explanation of the final reset:<br>So, as the Omega is dying, it attempts to restart the day again as it usually does when an Alpha dies, but it doesn't work and it instead transmits its own death back 24 hours, killing all of the Mimics a day before it's killed. Cage, being covered in both the Alpha and Omega's blood, gets caught up in that reset but because he's human (not dependent on the Omega to live like the mimics), he's fine. He wakes up at a different timepoint because the Omega died in the early hours of the morning BEFORE the France invasion. Cage is therefore reset to the previous morning, right before he met with Brigham.

I like how Emily Blunt can go from playing an office assistant in "The Devil Wears Prada", to being in an action movie such as this! She demonstrated that she has a broad range of acting talent that's not just one type of acting. 😃

As many times as I've seen this movie, I've NEVER contemplated the title.<br>That IS a good point: he's always on the edge of tomorrow but never gets there!<br>Awesome!

Tom Cruise held the record for holding his breath underwater (6 minutes) while shooting this scene in 'Rogue Nation' (2015)... until Kate Winslet broke it for 'Avatar: The Way of Water' (2022) at 7 minutes and 14 seconds...

This is hands down my favorite action sci-fi time-loop movie! I’ve watched it more than 15 times, and it never gets old. Everything about it is executed to perfection—the pacing, the action, the storytelling. And that ending? Chef’s kiss! Tom Cruise’s smirky laugh, as if saying “Here we go again!”, followed by the seamless cut to credits with "Love Me Again" playing—absolute cinematic perfection. I’ve never felt such an incredible sense of closure from a movie. Thanks for the reaction! It’s great to see this underrated gem finally getting the appreciation it deserves.
