  This is such a good retelling of Matt&apos;s experiences. I am an older woman living in the mountains of West Virginia since I retired to my old family homestead 19 years ago. As other relatives on this property died or moved away and I &nbsp;lived alone, the Bigfoot Clan here got bolder. I&apos;d see tracks all over and they were helping themselves to my garden and my fruit trees and berry patch. The young ones began pranking me, tossing small rocks against the side of my house when I&apos;d be using the bathroom etc. Finally I&apos;d had it with them and started yelling expletives at them when they broke my garden fence down and pulled up the tomatoes I&apos;d just planted (where the strawberry patch they&apos;d raided had been the previous year.) I quit growing a garden about that time anyway as I became heat intolerant after an illness. Once I established boundaries that my house was off limits, I put out treats at dusk in a gifting basket.<br>I talked to the youugsters when I knew they were in the bushes and said here&apos;s your treats. But you must be quiet and respectful of my privacy and let me rest!<br>I&apos;d say goodnight and go inside. Once I pulled the blind on the big window above my kitchen sink, it usually stayed quiet. They eventually became accustomed to this arrangement. It&apos;s been going on for almost 10 years now. They are here only in the warm months. I found you had to set limits with the young ones and asked their adults for help.<br> They usually don&apos;t want the young ones misbehaving. If you can learn to communicate on some level with the adults and show them respect, they can be very good neighbors. At least the ones here are. They are very protective of me and stomp and break branches if anyone comes in at night that they don&apos;t know. I solved the problem by taking my visitors out with me when I put out treats and introducing them &quot;to the bushes&quot;. Or telling them the night before and showing that another car will be in my drive. They are very nosy!

  My husband and I with our two Weimaraner dogs were just at the Lake Crescent location over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were hiking the Spruce Grove Trail and at the turn around point, we were the only ones there, I heard a whistle. &nbsp;I told my husband who did not hear it, I said &apos;it did not sound like a bird.&apos; &nbsp;It creeped me out and I was anxious to keep going to get away from that particular area. &nbsp;I felt like we were being watched a couple of times while on the hike. &nbsp;This story is not surprising me one bit.

  I learned a good lesson tonight! Never assume that there won&apos;t be pictures or video to accompany the story. I generally listen to these as I work around the house.... I was making potato salad tonight... And just happened to see the video of the eye shine... So I went back to the door picture. <br>I might be gullible, but Matt seems to be incredibly authentic. There&apos;s none of the over the top details... None of the mannerisms of telling tall tales. Thank you for sharing!

  Chinese zombie is so funny for a kid to say and represents the sounds so perfectly I can hear it in my head now hahahaha 😂

  South Louisiana here. Bigfoot cannot resist a gumbo. Haha.<br>We&apos;ve had a roof walker and other weird stuff.
