  Originally I thought Don't Go Away was about a bad break up......but after now learning Noel wrote this because of the fear of losing his mum when they thought she had cancer.........fook me does it give new meaning to the lyrics! Simply heartbreakingly beautiful!

  “Forever and a day”……. One of the most underrated singer songwriters ever. Definitely in my top 5 of all time. This is the Oasis most people have no clue exists unfortunately.

  Didn’t know this was written in regards to Noel’s mum, I’ve always loved this song as my perception of this was a goodbye song. Sung this to my dad when he had heart surgery and then again when he unfortunately passed, yes I neeeeeeed more timeeeee miss you dad

  Goosebumps every time , this is why I love artists who write an compose their own stuff.straight from the heart , I read before his mam had a breast cancer scare an he locked himself away in his room an wrote this about possibly losing his mam , that&apos;s raw pure human emotion in them lyrics . Unlike umbrella that was passed about 6 different performers before it got settled on Rihanna

  I cant believe this only has 1600+ views, man back in 2008/09 I musta listed to this song a million times after what I was going through with my ex partner. <br><br>Turns out this song is about his mum in hospital. <br><br>Deep stuff.
