  Oasis was my coming-of-age band. I was amazed by music; my identity and passion for it were just beginning, and Oasis was there as the soundtrack of my young life — innocent, full of dreams, and eager to discover the world. As I grew older, I faced many disappointments (as is natural). All of my dreams were shattered, and I couldn’t listen to Oasis anymore. But now, I allow the young girl in me to be reborn with the reunion of the band. The memories bring back all of my dreams, and I feel so nostalgic, so vulnerable, always on the verge of tears — realizing how fast life has passed and how deeply a band can mark one’s soul.
