  Mr Rowe is genuinely one of the only TV personalities I consider a hero. The amount of work he's done to showcase different careers to kids/young adults and just capture the spirit and fun in working in some places is something I love him for

  To be invited onto a flight deck during operations without being a qualified nevy personel  does not happen very often. Good for you, Mike Rowe. Keep up the great work.

  I did a deployment onboard the Harry S Truman as a plane captain/Aviation Mechanic in 2018. &nbsp;This was by far the best video about carrier life I’ve seen yet. &nbsp;Been out of the navy for almost four years now but the sights and sounds you guys captured made me feel like I was right back onboard. &nbsp;Ya nailed it, Mike and crew. &nbsp;Will be waiting for more.

  By far one of the coolest experiences of my life, getting to teach him how to land a helo on a carrier. He’s just as cool off camera as he is on camera. Solid guy.

  I was an engineer at Sikorsky some 35 years ago. I did some design work on the Seahawks back then. They are very reliable. Now, I work for the company that makes the F-18s. I don’t work on those, but good to see them flying.

Been so since your day&apos;s of narrating &quot;Deadliest Catch&quot; And then of course &quot; Dirty Job&apos;s&quot; But this is the cherry on top. Thank you for this.   CV-62, U.S.S. Independence, from 1987 to 1989.<br>That feeling of being &quot;lost&quot; aboard an aircraft carrier can last the whole time you are assigned to the ship. You learn to go from your rack to the mess deck to where you work and back to your rack. Most sailors aboard an aircraft carrier only see about 10% of the interior of the ship the entire two years they live on the ship.<br>The only time in my life I experienced a bit of &quot;Megalophobia&quot; was when I walked down the pier towards the &quot;Indy&quot; for the first time. I have never felt quite so tiny in all my life than &nbsp;the first time I walked up the gang-way to board that ship.
