The fact that the litigation about the relocation was over is NOT a point for the defense! It shows that there was no other LEGAL recourse. So they took matters into their own hands. That was a self own by the defense and one of the worst openings I’ve heard.

This defense is a total joke. A fired judge...attorney and can't even remember the witness's name. They are just handing the state their case on a silver platter...which they really don't need any more help. DA hung herself by who she is. I can't wait for the GUILTY verdict to be announced!!!!

I feel a little offended that the defense is calling him “Danny”. I mean, no one in the Adelson family even liked him, so how dare they! I hope the Jury sees right through that!! 🤬

Two things give me the ick here: one, the defense almost acting like Dan Markel is their client, getting sentimental about his career and describing his murder in detail, almost with tears, and two, calling him Danny. That’s so disrespectful, imo. Her client is on trial for his 💀,show some respect, some formality. I don’t know how the jurors see it, but it puts me off.

She used the ‘I’m old fashioned so I didn’t use PowerPoint’ but the real reason is she didn’t have anything to put on PowerPoint! Really what could she have put up there? She didn’t present a defence, just repeated what Sara said about what happened and then said Donna is a nice kind lady. Maybe they could have put up a picture of her baking banana bread or something 😂
