Black Mask's backstory is that he loves to collect masks, and he wore this mask to become a crime lord of Gotham. Then a fire burn his mask, and the mask melted to his face. His mask becomes his face as you are seeing it now.

Also, you guys need to watch Batman The Animated series. It's a crime that you never seen that show, and it's voiced by two legendary actors, who're in this game.

 To talk about two things:

The way how Joker looked so ill was due to a massive over dose of the Titan formula back at the asylum.

And scarecrow look, let's just say a certain Croc got ahold of him. Luckily he lived.

Such a creative GAME OVER screen, just the characters standing over your defeated/dead body taunting you, making it all the more satisfying to beating them

Fun fact: Scarecrow’s newest design isn’t a mask, it’s his ripped and rotting face. Killer Croc mauled him and ripped his entire face to pieces.

The person Penguin was calling a Harlot was Harley Quinn. There’s an Arkham Knight DLC where you play as her

 34:53

Forgive my inner nerd, but these thugs you encounter specifically are actually part time waste management workers that work for a company called Hell's Gate (itself being an illegal front of criminal operations that's ran by Two-Face).

Almost all the workers you see in the game that have their vests on are found in the gang robbing banks in Gotham and also Blüdhaven during the events of Arkham Knight, and Two-Face's gang at this point of time are generally considered to be the largest gang in Gotham since many of them are former Penguin thugs and Black Mask mobsters when Harvey had rose to power after the events of Arkham City.

The masks they use when robbing banks are actually modified gas masks that are made to look like they're half burnt or just half red.

 1. The likely reason you didn't remember copperhead is because she only appears in one boss fight in Origins

2. Copperheads is a semi- prominent character in the batman universe but he's usually male. The developers for origins decided to genderswap him because there wasn't enough women in Origins (ironically the Arkham series is so popular that more people now probably know Copperhead as a woman than a man)

God, this is SUCH a novel concept for game over screens in games! Obviously you need the right game and setting to make it work, but wouldnt it be so cool to see something like this in, I dunno, a Legend of Zelda game or something, depending on what the story and villains and setup are?

Riddler and Freeze are the best villains in this whole series. Riddler is such an arrogant little shit and it helps build the satisfaction of punching his face in. Also, him being the only one to not believe Bruce was Batman because he couldn't figure it out himself is just the chef's kiss. And Freeze getting the best ending for his character in knight, not a complete downer, but appropriately bittersweet with a redemption and getting to be with his wife is nice
