  It looks like Diablo 1 Remaster isn&apos;t happening at BlizzCon like a lot of us anticipated. I pumped this script, film and edit 3 days before BlizzCon thinking they would drop a remaster ~ But nope! Instead, I got to experience the classic for what it is without the hype and I&apos;m OK with that. <br><br>The more I sat with Diablo 1 after filming this video, the more I found myself really loving it for it&apos;s simplicity and retro charm. I had an urge to go back and try Nightmare/Hell as well as a Warrior playthrough! I think if I played Diablo 1 in 1996-1999, my nostalgia alone would easily clear a 5/5 with the rose-blinders on. lol. Great game!<br><br>Thanks for watching, everyone!<br>- Ydoc

  Memories are fading but I know for 100% certain that the first time I met the Butcher I jumped out of my chair as soon as he said &quot;fresh meat!&quot; ! &nbsp; &nbsp;It was probably 1am in the morning, dark, and I had those JBL speakers for my PC

  I love Diablo 1 and would love to see a remaster. Diablo II certainly revolutionized the game mechanics, but even it lost something in the atmosphere that had really captured me in Diablo 1. Diablo II went in a more fantastical direction where Diablo 1 is much more solidly dark gothic with horror. And I can never get tired of that Tristram soundtrack!

  During LAN parties we would leave a character out in Tristram the whole night. It never gets old man...

  I am 44. I played this game when it came out.<br>It absolutely blew my mind.<br><br>I LOVE the Tristram soundtrack.<br>It is one of my favorite pieces of music.<br>Sometimes I listen to it on repeat to relax.❤

  In 1996, I was almost 14 at the time. No idea Diablo would be still going strong even with Diablo 2 coming out. Blizzard and gaming ... will never be the same. Brevick, removing turn based unleashed hell.

  I died my first playthrough when the game came out, surrounded by scavengers in level 2 of the Cathedral. I still dream of that death... the paranoia, the futility, and the frustration. Unique.<br><br>The Butcher was terrifying. Ogden&apos;s sig quest was so much fun. The Mushroom quest. Godly Plate of the Whale. Iykyk

  Ah the good old times, 14y old, never played games like these, barely able to speak or read English, no idea how to go online and search any help, if there were any.... slowly grinding towards the lower levels and finally completing the game... never again -__-

  My favorite childhood memory was saving the game right before getting killed. Luckily I learned such things early with half life 1 and Diablo 1. Glad you got to experience Diablo 1 fresh, my 1992 brother.
