  Investing in appearance dosent have to be super expensive there are so many tips and tricks. I learned French press on nails work wonders for a quick manicure, drink water all day to have a slimmer face too

  I always get compliments when I wear bright colors and vivid patterns. I make sure my hair is neat and I keep my shoes clean.

  I'll dispute one thing - there's no age limit on caring about beauty. My aunt's in her 80s and stunning. She still cares and it shows. I want to be her in my older age. I'll also dispute that men don't have to put work into their appearance because that's absolute bullshit

  Maintaining yourself is expensive. Even a nail clipper is not cheap for someone who does not have an income nor money to spare. Good skincare is expensive because basic skincare only works if you have good genes. Basic brands  smell like factories and your skin is dry and ashy after 30mins. Even losing weight is expensive because fast food is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than organic fruits and veggies. Investing in your looks does not work when you have 0 access to funds. I was vaseline, zambuck and wig-lines, when I had a basic job. But now I oil cleanse, exfoliate, do my hair  professionally, and never miss a nail appointment and I have glowed up. Beauty is currency, literally. This side of the conversation needs to be discussed.

  Invest in cosmetology school they teach you how to do hair nails makeup etc so you can manage your own upkeep

  as someone who works in a model agency looks matters 100 percent it is so important but it is not enough you need both beauty and brains so work on both
