  Being Dutch, I still remember it vividly. Can you imagine being a 9 year old sole survivor of a plane crash that killed your entire family? His grandparents took care of him after the accident, but he&apos;s generally stayed out of the media. I really hope he&apos;s doing well.

  Well, as a Libyan, I would elaborate on something so important I noticed within our dialect, which can be important to understand the captain&apos;s incompetence, at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxjTo4VHvNc&amp;t=2216">36:56</a> there&apos;s a huge mistranslation here, شفته does not used as just &quot;you see?&quot; which can be ambiguous, it literally means &quot;Did you see it?&quot;, and for any sane person in that situation, I think that the captain must know that the question is about the runway.

  What puzzles me is the third pilot in the jump seat doesn&apos;t seem to have added anything to the unfolding disaster. &nbsp;As a third pair of eyes and ears, he could so easily have pointed out erroes in procedures. Truly CRM was seriously awry with this airline. &nbsp;Also the fact the captain was flying for two different airlies at the same time could have only added conflicting procedures to the mess.

  I just wanted to come in and say this: I&apos;ve believed that you are an excellent documentarian from the first video I watched, but last night I realized what an excellent educator you are. My boyfriend and I were discussing the recent UPS crash and he was asking questions I actually had factual answers for. And all of them came from watching your content. So, thank you for teaching me.

  As an HC-130-H Navigator in the not so distant past, I must say, you did a great job presenting the complexities of the terminal environment. &nbsp;Especially the approach, and the 10 or so minutes leading up to it. &nbsp;There are so many things that go into an approach. &nbsp;They can go South really quickly when small mistake are made, and the holes in the cheese start lining up more quickly.

  While I’ve never suffered a somatogravic illusion, I have gotten the ‘leans’ once before. This is when you come out of a continuous turn and fly straight and level, but your body feels like the new straight and level attitude is a steep turn. I had this happen to me in perfect day VFR conditions and still had to fight my body to keep the wings truly level. I cannot imagine the level of disorientation at night, especially if both parties are feeling the same thing!

  Wow, imagine hearing &quot;Terrain, pull up!&quot; and your first reaction as a captain is to take control without informing the pilot flying and immediately steer the plane into the ground.<br>That part astounded me more than anything else. The lack of communication and not following proper procedures is complacency, but making the decision to take control at a critical moment without informing the pilot flying and pushing the stick forward when you&apos;ve just been warned you are already in a dive straight into the ground is beyond incompetence.<br>The first officer could have easily saved the plane and avoided a crash if the captain hadn&apos;t interfered. He killed all those people and is 100% responsible for their deaths. What an absolute moron.
