  I agree: John Candy was a force of nature. But my favorite line in the movie: "Can I interest anyone in a possible lunch trade?"

  I always felt like Uncle Buck was like a prequel to Home Alone. You can really see the elements in Uncle Buck that would produce the best two Xmas movies of all time.

  John is one of those people that if there is an afterlife I'd love to meet him because I didnt get to meet him while he was here. He is an acting legend and you can tell, just an amazing person. We are all worse off by him not being here though the films he did and the way he made us feel make us better off that we got to experience them. Candy is an all-time great and to me is a top 10 actor, if not top 5 for me. Thanks for covering this film, an all-time great.

  John Candy and John Hughes left this world WAY too early.  John Candy movies, there's just something about him that draws you in, his warmth on screen you can actually feel it.  RIP Mr Candy and Mr. Hughes.  Your movies made the world just a little less cold.

  One of my all-time favorite feel-good movies. RIP John. &nbsp;I had a &apos;72 Catalina that acted in a similar manner. It was such a great car!

  My favourite scene was after Bug was pulled out of the trunk of the car and threatened Buck … Buck gets out his golf clubs and nails Bug as he is on the run &nbsp;… twice.
