  Not only did the "new" SWISS survive as part of Lufthansa Group, it has actually become the most profitable airline within the group.

  I&apos;m really impressed with this channel! &nbsp;At first I was just following for airline/flight reviews like any other usual &quot;seat was good, food was bad&quot; channel here. &nbsp;But I&apos;ve come to realize his extensive + deep research and info about the airlines is outstanding. &nbsp; It&apos;s like each flight he takes sparks a lesson in some fascinating corner of detail about the airline industry. &nbsp; It&apos;s way better than some lame Wendover productions video, and better than some amateur traveler. &nbsp; I wonder how he has such a good understanding of the industry!

  The gambler management of Swissair destroyed the life savings of countless Swiss citizens. Swissair had a reputation of a rock solid company, a national pride. Many put a lot of eggs in that basket.

  My dad was a Swissair Pilot up until they went bankrupt. They might have not done well with management but until the end they offered industry leading services and even among pilots Swissair pilots were hailed as a different breed. And fun fact after the declared bankruptcy of Swissair Lufthansa acquired most of their aircraft for a symbolic 1 CHF

  Well done on that one. It was a great disaster for the Swiss. My uncle nearly lost his pension with Swissair.
