No Airbus model will "End Boeing". Boeing are doing a great job of ending themselves regardless of what any other manufacturer is doing.

Fun fact: IAG originally planned for their first A321XLR deliveries to go to Aer Lingus. But since Aer Lingus had a dispute with their pilots that wasn't resolved quick enough, they were reallocated to Iberia.

The educational aspect of these videos are so unique I love them. A welcome change from the standard ‘best’ this ‘best’ that when it comes to YouTube flight reviews.

Very good video. My only complaint: That Aviation YouTuber thing where you get served something and say "I don't know what this is" while the people who could enlighten you are literally walking past you all the time. 😅

Now I finally understand why each airline has a different range for the same Aircraft

Just a correction, seats are not payload, payload is any load that generates revenue (passengers, baggage and cargo). Seats are included in the operating empty weight (OEW).

Wow. I clicked this thinking it would be clickbait and full of quick info grabbed off of ridiculous media headlines over the years - you have absolutely changed my mind.

Thanks for actually doing research and understanding how payloads work and why such a niche market ISN’T really a niche market after all. I think Airbus has already sold 3x more XLRs than market analysts said they’d ever make when it was launched.

All your points were usually corrections if have to explain to other people / comments who have zero clue how this stuff works.

Definitely have a new sub! 👍

Aer Lingus launched Dublin-Nashville on their A321XLR this weekend. Flight time is currently around 8.5hr so comparable to Madrid-Washington with Iberia.

Great value-add content as usual.
Not just ‘here’s the lounge (like most others), here’s the plane (and class I’m flying), food (loving or loathing, no talk about what Vegas or others get to make up for the caviar experience for example [niche bugbear]), sleep, here we are at the other end’.
Plus Oz voice.
