i went to Istanbul for the first time in 2012,, life was good.<br>i walked in Tony's footsteps, sat at his tables, ate the meals he ate.<br>i went back in 2018 when my father passed, we also lost Tony that year.. Istanbul felt different, Turkiye felt different, life was different forever.<br><br>i hope you find the peace you seek AB 💙

I went to Istanbul just after the pandemic for the first time, for what was supposed to be two weeks which grew into a mouth, then trip to Georgia, and back again for another month - followed by a month the next year and two weeks the year after when I brought my folks. There is just so much to see and do, and the food and the drink is world class.
