This is soooo on point. I see how these emotional affairs start, communication breaks down between you and your partner and then one of them finds someone who lets you finish sentences and listen. Doesn't justify it but see how it begins.

What if your partner comes homes and says things like, "you would really like (the Emotional affair partners name). You two are a lot alike." And they are constantly talking about them.

The "just friends " excuse is absolutely infuriating. I found love notes from her, he gave her VD gifts, and he continued the affair after it was discovered. Both families were also fully aware of it. He still wants to play that card.

Oh, goodness, I knew this was for me at the beginning. My husband has "reconnected" with two women over social media, and he has met a "friend" at the gym. I cannot prove the gym "friend" but I do see where he has deleted texts. That tells me everything I need to know based on past experiences. 😔

my wife started turning her location off. biggest sign ever plus all of a sudden no sex for 4 months and eventually I caught her at his house. and of course it's all my fault. 23 years down the drain. just happened last month and we stuck living together while she still sees him. taking all my strength to not burn the house down just to get away from her

Hiding and saying "l didn't want you to get disturbed". "Because such things disturb you" (meaning those are normal interactions and you are so sensitive that it disturb you).

What if he said, she’s not attractive. She looks like a troll. I like attractive woman. I wouldn’t do anything with her. But, I told him it’s not about attraction as far as looks.
