My parents revokable trust worked when the last one passed on but a lawyer was involved and he recorded some documents at the county recorder...so much for privacy hahaha.

What would protect my assets? I have an revocable living trust. What else would I need in an add to it to asset protection?

A trust is more private. More opportunity for someone (your follow-on trusree) who decides to scam you after you are dead. Many people are honest until their price and opportunity permits them drain your trust for their advantage and not the best interests of the maker of the trust. So sometimes oversight by a judge may be a good thing though it lengthens the time to get your estate distributed. How do you ensure the follow-on trustee will follow you instructions from the grave?

In my opinion, it simply means that other people outside of the family, want to share the treasures of the deceased person(s).

If financial accounts are set up with "Transfer on Death", those assets pass directly to whoever is named on the account documents. Also bypasses probate, and without needing to have a trust.

Totally disappointed they opened a trust but they failed to confirm the property description so now I have to find a title company to correct it. I found these people on YouTube big mistake if I was you I’ll choose someone else.
