Amen! So helpful and practical! Thanks for all y’all do! I am a probation officer and I have the opportunity to share the Gospel and talk with probationers about their faith and I try to always recommend this ministry to them. I currently have a couple who I know are listening because they have talked a little about it. Most of them come in and tell me who they listen to and it’s always Osteen, Elevation, Myers etc. I steer them to y’all and others like MacArthur, Baucham, Ardavanis, Sproul and Washer but I also tell them to listen to both and tell me the difference they see. But first and foremost I tell them to study God’s Word and test everything.

Thank you for this Costi! Great stuff and absolute truth! Just started reading John MacArthur’s “the vanishing conscience”. The more I sin, the more desensitized I become to it and that is a scary, scary position to be in. As I recently heard, scripture keeps us from sin, but sin keeps us from scripture. Lord help us to keep our minds continually washed in the water of your word!

It’s so sad that as I was listening my mind just kept running in the background. I had to pull over and pray just to listen without any distractions in my head!.

Costi- some of the most powerful messages we must “take captive” come from the first twenty years of our lives…beliefs about ourselves that we received directly or indirectly…most from our own families, some from traumas, etc. etc…We must become aware of these things.
“Teach me oh God, and know my heart…test me and know my anxious thoughts…” ps 139:23
Do they align with what Jesus says about us?
Not just messages coming at us NOW…but what we’ve carried for a very long time… ❤️‍🩹
